The story happened in the old Broadway Centrum.
[Taken from Internet:]
There was a couple inside a car when they noticed a guy walking around them. Of course the girl, in fright, told her boyfriend to go out and confront the person. After hours later, the girl was freaked out when the head of her boyfriend just abruptly appear on the window. Next day, she was found by the police insane. Legend has it that the guy walking around them hunts couples doing something inside the cars.
[Taken from http://underbonesphilippines.com/forums/index.php?topic=3068.90;wap2 (itchy4travel)]
The story goes that a couple went out on a date one night somewhere along New Manila. Then their car breaks down; good thing they were able to steer it to the broadway centrum parking lot. The boyfriend gets out of the vehicle and tries to fix the problem, but fails. So he tells the girlfriend to stay in the car, close the windows, and lock the doors while he's looking for help.
An hour later, the girl was getting anxious waiting for her boyfriend to arrive when she notices a strange man watching from the shadows. this man approaches the car and starts banging on the windows and trying to force open the doors. Terrified, the girl honks the car horn to get attention and scare the man off. He stopped and hurriedly left, only to return a few minutes later. then he circled the car, deliberately, holding something in his hand, which he raises to the window.
To her absolute horror, the girl realizes it was her boyfriend's decapitated head! That's not all: she was even more horrified to see what the man lifts up in his other hand: the boyfriend's car keys.
Allegedly the poor girl was so traumatized by the experience that she lost her mind.
[Taken from a Text Message:]

As I noticed, both stories are similar to the urban legend written by Jan Brunvand in his book, telling us about. It is as if the Americans brought here their stories and frightened couples who were still roaming outside in the middle of the night. If only I know when these stories circulated in the public, perhaps I might conclude something. If it rose in the time of Marcus' reign (perhaps the Martial Law), I might think it is one of their way to scare people going outdoors at night.

AIDS patient injects Movie-goers & Shoppers with his blood
Claim:
Movie-goers and mall shoppers were injected with syringes containing infected blood of AIDS/HIV.Legend:
The story about a guy carrying a syringe full of AIDS/HIV positive blood going around injecting moviegoers at SM Megamall broke out sometime in the 1990s. There were those who claimed to have heard stories from people who knew one of the guy's victims.
A person will sit beside to someone who is alone then prick a needle to him, then leaves a morbid note like, "Welcome to my world!" or "Congratulations, you're one of us."
In the case of the shoppers, they will stand or sit beside you, then they'll inject you with the infected syringe or needle. After that, they will just run away living the words, "Happy living".
Variations:
- In some stories, the guy was said to be wearing a baseball cap or a hooded jacket.
- Some people also said that the guy would let out a maniacal laugh each time he injected a victim. The guy seemed to "melt into the shadows" since nobody reported seeing him running or headed anywhere.
- Instead of a syringe, he use only a needle.
- Other versions, this guy injects HIV positive blood in Ketchup dispensers in fast-food chains.
- Another story which originated this legend:
A woman (an employee of SM) who was infected by an HIV. After being fired by Mr. Henry Sy, she took revenge. She sit/stand beside SM shopper, then injects a needle from her body. Sometimes, she left some of the needles in the seats in SM cinemas for whoever will sit on it will also be infected.
Other story would claim it was a disgruntled man.
Facts:
Anti-Megamall groups probably got together and decided to infect it with this story, which, by the way, isn't original. It turns out that this story has an international scope.Sources:

UFO Sightings in Novaliches, Quezon City and Cagayan De Oro
About
It has been a very big issue and mystery in the world if there are other beings in the whole universe aside of us - Earthlings. According to the specialists studying these issues,
It is very impossible that we are alone, there are millions of galaxies, containing billions of stars, encircled with more than two planets each. So, could it be possible that they had visited Philippines also? Well, YES, though some are not true.
This story was featured in GMA Channel 7 Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho. According to them, the pictures taken in Novaliches, Quezon City was fake. It was just photoshopped by the person who claimed he captured it on air. The UFO sightings in Cagayan De Oro are as well not been proven if either fake or reliable.
Actually, UFO sightings here in the Philippines didn't only appear in those two cities - Quezon City and Cagayan De Oro, but also in Las Pinas City. The sightings there were proven to be true now, that's why we don't add it here.
The first sighting had been caught a video was on the mountainside of Cagayan de Oro City, taken September 14, 2011. Base on the person who took the recording,
It wasn't a plane nor an air traffic lights. A view of down the street was taken for perspective. No editing was done to the video.
The second one was filmed over Novaliches Quezon City, Philippines. Taken, September 20, 2011. According to the eye witness,
Right when I speed out of my house I saw these redish, orange bright lights coming from the west heading east. At first i thought it was fireworks. but then it smoothly floating or whatever. There were five UFOs, at first all going the same direction, then three more appear.

Alien Abductions in Mt. Banahaw

Look at the beautiful scenery of Mount Banahaw, depicting the farmland and the mountains consisting it.
Claim:
Hikers were missing everytime they went up in Mt. Banahaw, a sacred mountain in the Philippines. It was blamed on the aliens and the mountain was said to have a perfect landing site for UFOs.
Legend:
Collected from Internet:
There is a group of young campers who spend the night at one of those mountains. One of them felt uncomfortable to sleep in the tent because its hot and crowded, she decided to go outside and sleep on a sleeping bag were the air is much colder. After few minutes of sleep she heard this strange noise of a landing aircraft, when she opened her eyes she saw a flaying saucer landing in front of her, she felt blinded by a light and when she woke up she was on the top of the other mountain away from her friends. Her friends found her and she said she doesn't remember anything after seeing the light. |
This sacred mountain located between Laguna and Quezon, is rumored to be a vortex for the supernatural. Many claim it to be the landing site for the extra-terrestial Ashtar Command, as witnessed by hundreds of people including a TV crew who filmed it.
There is this set of twin Mountains, Known as Mount Banahaw and Mount Cristobal. Both sacred Mountains were feared by campers. Both Mountains were said to be infested by Engkantos (Fairies), but we won't talk about fairy stories.
Truth:
This mountain is home to many religious sects ranging from mystic Catholics, to Christian sects with far-fetched beliefs. One group believes Jose Rizal and Jesus are one and the same (they are called "Rizalist"); another thinks Christ’s second coming will be at its peak; while another’s cherished relic is a piece of paper with ink scribbles - supposedly written by the Christ child- "Santo Nino".
The White Lady and Haunted Tree in Loakan Road
Did you know that there was another white lady aside in the Balete Drive?
About
“Club” John Hay has closed its entrance in front of Nevada Square and is now accessible from only two entry points, one through Baguio Country Club and one via Loakan Road, the more popular gate. Taking the Loakan entrance from Military Cut-off Road, the motorist will notice that in front of Hotel Veneracion the road seems to be a lane wider, but only for about five meters and then shrinks back to its usual two-lane width. In truth, there once stood an allegedly enchanted acacia tree about two meters in diameter right smack in the middle of the road.
In the 1950’s when the plans were laid out to construct a road connecting Kennon Road’s Camp 7 to the city, the tree was right smack in the middle of the proposed route. The solution was simple: bulldoze the tree. It is said that all efforts to uproot the tree resulted in the death or serious illnesses of those involved. So big was the scare surrounding the circumstances workers befell in their previous attempts that the road was widened and built AROUND the mysterious obstacle. Needless to say, that poorly lit portion of Loakan Road yielded its own set of vehicular accidents often times claiming lives, even though the Baguio General Hospital was less than a kilometer away.
In the 1980’s, workers brave enough to put public service before their fear painted the base of the tree with yellow luminous paint to warn motorists. That small and seemingly harmless task led to severe illness for the poor men who are said to have relocated and no longer reside in Benguet Province. Sometime in 2001, the tree just “died” after occupying that spot for what appears to be hundreds of years. In 2002, the “Loakan Tree” was finally destroyed.
Legend
[Taken from Internet:]
There are many mysterious happenings surrounding Loakan. A tree in the middle of the road rumored to inexplicably cause death or illness to whosoever attempts to cut it down. A ghostly figure wanders the lonely road. Wails are heard from the ruins of two infrastructures leveled by the 1990 killer quake. But the most famous is the Lady in White. |

Biringan City
Have you heard of a city of wonder, which appear and vanish at the same time?
About
This story was featured in the GMA Channel 7, Mel & Joey, hosted by Mel Tiangco and Joey de Leon. According to them, this city appears to be somewhat a kind of portal from and going to the other world.Anyway . . .
In the Province of Samar, the Philippines, the mention of “Biringan” evokes awe, fear, intrigue, knocking on wood and innumerable signs of the Cross.
What is Biringan? It is reportedly an undefined location somewhere between Calbayog City and Catarman, Northern Samar, where a mythic city(ies) of indescribable grandeur is/are said to exist, unvisited by ordinary mortals, known only by magnificent folk stories that refuse to die despite the advent of television and the internet. Other reports extend its area to as far south as San Jorge, Samar.
Biringan’s “now-you-see-it, now-you-don’t” quality indicates it is not of the usual land and water terrain in which we live in. It seems to exist in a different dimension, which explains why its boundaries can overlap with known towns and cities of Samar island. On moonless nights, seafarers aplenty have reported seeing a dazzling city of light. In a few minutes, though, the manifestation is no longer visible. Obviously, Biringan is not likely to be shown on any map or atlas. But specialized (infrared, ultraviolet, etc.) satellite mapping photography have reportedly turned up a shining area in the reported general location of Biringan.
They say Biringan is the legendary home of the encantos (enchanted ones) and half-encanto, half-human progeny. The encantos are most likely elementals, as old as the mountains and rivers in the area. They are apparently shapechangers because they have been reported to appear in whatever form they wish, human or not. But in human form, their distinguishing characteristic is the lack of the philtrum, the indentation below the nose and above the upper lip.
Legends
Portals to and from an ethereal city. There are places in the island of Samar that have been described thus. |
Supernatural abductions. Quite seemingly out of this world, but reportedly true. Some of the most persistent incidents related to the Biringan phenomenon involve the “relocation” of humans from the mortal world to Biringan. |
Heavy equipment for an invisible city? Uncanny but true. In the Sixties, Tacloban City in the province of Leyte, the Philippines was the commercial hub of the Eastern Visayas region. It was the natural port of call of passenger and cargo ships plying the Visayas-Manila route. Who could ever imagine that manifestations of Biringan’s existence would take physical form? |
In the late Eighties through the Nineties, the Japanese ventured into Biringan territory. They conducted rural development work focused on the town of San Jorge, Western Samar. The implementing agency was the Japanese International cooperation Agency (JICA). The entire Samareño population was perplexed as to why the Japanese would concentrate on San Jorge when there were a lot more towns in the province which needed the development work more. To implement the project, the Japanese brought in tons of equipment (vehicles and machinery) and Japanese engineers and field personnel descended on San Jorge in full force. |
Conclusion
What really is Biringan? Is it a city or kingdom existing in a parallel dimension with ours? Do these two dimensions interpenetrate at times, causing the meeting of inhabitants from ours with encantos? Does this explain the ethereal now-you-see-it, now-you don’t quality of Biringan and its denizens? To this day, Biringan remains a mysterious part of Philippine folklore (actually still an urban legend). In addition, everyday stories of encounters with Biringan’s residents continue to be told. If these had simply been figments of the imagination, these stories would have died down a long time ago, what with the advent of 100+ channels cable television and the Internet. Still, fresh stories continue to crop up.
Stories such as spirit possession by Biringan’s encantos over ten school children just because their school Principal unwittingly made a bonfire next to the large balete tree in their school yard. How was the poor teacher to know that the huge tree looming large near the old school building was the abode of a Biringanon? And that she had unknowingly injured the youngest child of the invisible occupants of the tree abode?
Even modern-day kids in the Philippines, well-versed on the Japanese animé sagas of the new century, still believe in the existence of the legendary kingdom of Biringan. This is an undeniable fact. Despite all the terror attacks, all the coup rumors, the hunger, the droughts, the floods, and everything, only one thing remains unshaken by it all … Biringan.

Romblon Triangle
Background History
Romblon is a province of the Philippines which is part of the Visayan islands. The Romblon Triangle was the local Bermuda Triangle, which is almost similar. The boundaries of the triangle covers the entire area of northern Romblon province, and its endpoint lies on Concepcion municipality, in-between of the Dos Hermanas islands (Isabel and Carlota islands) and Sibuyan Island. This sea had been a witness of some marine wars and disasters even in the time of Spanish Colonialism. The Battle of Sibuyan Sea (October 24, 1944)
One major maritime disaster or rather battle occured in the waters inside the Romblon Triangle. During the time when the United States Navy under the command of Admiral William Halsey has launched a massive operation to land American forces under the command of General Douglas MacArthur in Leyte, the Japanese sent as naval strike force from Formosa (Taiwan) under the command of Admiral Takeo Kurita. Part of this naval strike force was the super-battleship the Yamato and Musashi. On the morning of 24 October, American planes from Admiral Halsey's Third Fleet spotted Admiral Kurita's force entering Sibuyan Sea. The American admiral then sent a squadron of planes to engage the incoming Japanese force the prevent them from reaching San Bernardino Strait. Near the islands of the Dos Hermanas (Carlota and Isabela) the American planes heavily bombed the Japanese naval forces a severely damaging and sinking Musashi. It is near these islands where the remains of this grand battleship of the Japanese found its final resting place.
The Adeter Tragedy (1950s)
In the 1950s, the Maghali group of islands in Romblon (Banton, Concepcion and Simara) were made accessible to the provincial capitol and to Luzon thru the construction of wooden launches which ply the routes Lucena City-Romblon and Manila-Romblon. One of the companies that became the forefront in wooden vessel shipping was the Asuncion Shipping (now known as San Nicholas Shipping) which was based on the island of Banton. It had a fleet of 7 to 10 ships divided into three classes: the Asuncion class, the Catalyn class and the Adeter class. During the 1950, one of the ships in the Adeter class, the Adeter V was caught in a storm as it travelled between Banton and Simara and sank.
The M/V Don Juan Tragedy (1980)
M/V Don Juan is the first of the many Negros Navigation ships that went down to sea, and one of the least recorded in history. Even before the sinking of the M/V Dona Paz in 1987, the Don Juan made news in April, 1980 when it collided with a cargo ship owned by Lostiveco Shipping, the M/V Tacloban between the Dos Hermanas and Concepcion Islands. While we have no record of the body count, certain mysteries enshroud the cause of the collision. But there was a report of casualty with 115 people still missing.
The M/V Dona Paz Tragedy (December 1987)
Dubbed as the worst peacetime maritime disaster in world history, the M/V Dona Paz, owned by Sulpicio Lines, collided with the tanker M/T Vector at the Tablas Strait between Concepcion Island and the municipality of Pola, Mindoro. The collision caused the M/V Dona Paz to explode into a huge fireball killing more than 4,000 passengers (specifically 4,375 people), the death toll of which surpassed that of the RMS Titanic on April 1912, which only count 1,502 people.
The M/V Princess of the Stars Tragedy (June 21, 2008)
And of course, the recent tragedy to the Sulpicio Lines flagship occured near the municipality of San Fernando, in Sibuyan Island, Romblon. Caught as the eye of Typhoon Frank passed the Romblon Archipelago, the 23,000-tonne ship was capsized by huge waves taking away the lives of 843 passengers and crew. As of the moment, 48 have survived the ordeal and countless of bodies are still being searched.
Legend
A lot of folklore surrounds the story behind the Romblon Triangle, from mermaids to cursed seas. Even galleon crews plying the Sibuyan Sea as they follow the Manila-Acapulco Galleon trade route are enchanted by the waters of the area. Everytime a galleon enters the waters, special prayers and offerings are performed to appease the spirits haunting the area. But one well-known legend behind the countless of maritime disasters in Romblon was the legend of a certain Lolo Amang. Lolo Amang is said to be the Flying Dutchman of Romblon, a local version of the famous Cape of Good Hope ghost ship. Lolo Amang is said to frequent the waters of the province aboard a huge golden boat at night. His boat is so beautiful and shiny that seafarers can see it even a mile away. Once lured by the light of his golden boat, eyewitness claim to see a huge party aboard the ship with fair-skinned women, music and food. One eyewitness of the M/V Don Juan tragedy reported seeing Lolo Amang's ship before it collided with M/V Tacloban. The captain tried to avoid the ghost ship but ended up colliding with the ill-fated cargo vessel.
Lolo Amang is so well known in Romblon that some of his believers even collected taxes from unsuspecting residents. My great-grandfather who was the police chief of Banton Island in Romblon reportedly investigated this scheme and found out that some albularios or quack doctors are taking advantage of the Lolo Amang myth. When interviewed, these herbalists claim that Lolo Amang resides in a secret lair in a certain Barangay Cayatong in Looc or Ferrol town in Tablas Island. Up to this day, such place in Tablas is still shrouded in mystery, with reports of mysterious ships being sighted and late night parties in the middle of coconut groves were heard of.
In the end, there is not concrete evidence to prove the Lolo Amang myth. It could've been invited by the crews of the sunken vessels themselves to escape liabilities. It could also be a deliberate hoax to instill panic and fear among the islanders of the archipelago. It is only a matter of circumstances that made the waters of Romblon famous in the history of maritime disasters.
Conclusion
Philippine Coast Guard believes that such disasters are due to natural phenomena like high tides, heavy typhoons among others; outcome of its navigational potentials and topographic features.Source:
